2012 FSKA World Championships

 

In 2012, Sensei Richard and Sensei Pat took a competition team consisting of 7 students up to the FSKA World Championships. Originally to be held in Brazil, the venue was changed last minute to the states. Denver Colorado. The student's trained hard all year and showed dedication giving up their weekends to train and prepare. The tournament ran for 3 days however, the team was able to squeeze in some sight seeing and play time.

Kyler Nakayama - 1st place Kata, 2nd Place Kumite, 2nd Place Brown Belt Kumite

Ian Tamane - 1st Place Kata, 2nd Place Kumite

Sean Asuncion - 2nd Place Kata, 2nd Place Kumite (Black Belt), 1st Place Team Kumite (Team USA)

Jillian Neal - 1st Place Kata, 1st Place Kumite

Jasmine Almos - 1st Place Kata, 2nd Place Kumite
